The Kasakela made a habit of Ambushing, and taking out the Kahama one by one, until eventually each, and every Kahama male was dead. Not one.Īfter Godi was murderednext (Over the course of 3– years) was De, and not soon after Hugh, and Goliath who was a former Kasakela Elder that was actually quite admired by Figan himself. Not a single Kasakela chimp was ever killed. It was a celebration, and the beginning to a 4 year battle. They brutally beat him to death in a surprise attack as he was eating in a tree.Īfterwards, as Godi lay there lifeless, they began waving branches, screaming, and hooting. Until on this very date 6 Kasakela Chimpanzees, including Figan himself, ambushed Godi a member of the Kahama.
